The games that I came up with were pretty fun too. We had a diaper-changing relay game where we broke the guests into teams to see who could pass the baby around and change its diaper the fastest. Surprise, surprise, Grandma Berger's team won. It was made up of Stephanie, Aunt JoAnn, Tina, Grandma Berger, and Angie. All of them have had some diaper-changing experience. They won in about a minute and a half flat. Next time we'll have to divide those teams up differently. We also had baby bottles filled with apple juice, and guests had to drink from the bottles to drain them. That was fun! That one was close to call, but I think Angie might have won that one, just barely. Then we had guests guess how big Christy's belly would be, using a light blue ribbon. That one is kind of a baby shower classic, but it's always fun to see how close people get. For the last game guests were given a napkin, asked to put it behind their backs, and then they had to tear the napkin to make the shape of a baby shirt. Guests were surprisingly good at this one. Choosing which one looked the best turned out to be a difficult decision, but Christy ended up picking her friend, Eric. The guests also wrote down words of advice or well-wishes for the soon-to-be parents on index cards that went into a keepsake album. Then of course there were gifts and food. All in all it was a fun day. So happy for them!
